Job Description

As a Nuclear Monitoring Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our nuclear facilities. This position involves monitoring and maintaining equipment, conducting radiation measurements, and collaborating with various teams to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular environmental monitoring of air, water, and soil around nuclear facilities.
• Assist in developing and implementing radiation safety programs.
• Provide training on radiation safety protocols to employees and contractors.
• Investigate and report any radiation incidents or spills.
• Support emergency response procedures during potential radiation exposure events.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology or related field
• Certification in Radiation Safety and Nuclear Monitoring

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in nuclear monitoring or related field

Technical Skills

• Radiation detection equipment
• Data analysis software

Languages

• English: Fluent
