Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Farm and Home Management Educator who will guide Future Farmers of America (FFA) students in building leadership skills and gaining essential agricultural knowledge. This role involves coordinating various educational programs and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise FFA programs and student-led activities for enhanced learning.
  • Provide mentorship and support to help students develop leadership skills.
  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss goals and progress with students.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions to teach agricultural practices.
  • Work with community partners to provide resources and opportunities for FFA students.
  • Evaluate and report on student progress and program effectiveness.
  • Enable participation in local, state, and national FFA activities.
  • Encourage networking opportunities among students within the agricultural sector.
  • Develop educational materials that align with FFA objectives.
  • Promote FFA membership in the community to enhance program visibility.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in agriculture or education
