Job Description
We are searching for a skilled Pottery Kiln Builder to design, construct, and maintain pottery kilns. The successful candidate will ensure that our kilns are safe and efficient, meeting the production needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for kiln designs.
Fabricate and assemble kiln components, including electrical wiring.
Ensure kiln performance is optimized and make necessary adjustments.
Monitor kiln operations and troubleshoot any issues.
Conduct training sessions for staff on kiln-related safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety.
Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
Supervise kiln assembly projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Ceramics or Engineering
Relevant Certifications Preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in kiln operation and design
