Job Description

The Tool and Die Maker, also known as the Die Set Up Worker, is crucial in setting up, maintaining, and repairing various types of dies used in the manufacturing process. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in die setting and related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and install dies for production processes.
  • Monitor die performance and report issues as they arise.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for uptime and efficiency.
  • Test and adjust dies using precision measuring tools.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to enhance manufacturing workflows.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical diploma in related field preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or die setting.
