Job Description

As a Retort Engineer, you will operate and maintain retort systems, ensuring food products are processed safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with various teams to uphold safety and quality standards, while continuously seeking improvements in processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality guidelines during retort processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for retort system malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with production and maintenance to reduce operational downtime.
  • Create weekly reports on system performance and propose enhancements.
  • Engage in training sessions to improve team knowledge and skills on retort operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Food Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in retort technology and operations
Technical Skills
  • Process Automation
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Certifications
  • Certified Food Scientist (CFS)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
