Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Subassemblies Wirer to join our team. This role involves wiring subassemblies, testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical assembly and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assembly work in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management of electrical components.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads on project updates.
  • Oversee the quality of materials used in assembly.
  • Engage in ongoing training regarding new products and technologies.
  • Utilize CAD software to interpret schematics and designs.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality within the team.
  • Mentor junior staff in proper wiring techniques.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and equipment needs.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training or certification in electrical assembly preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical assembly or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with cable and harness assembly
  • Knowledge of IPC standards
  • Experience with automated testing equipment
Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with cable and harness assembly: Proven skills in the assembly of complex wiring harnesses.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-620 standards: Expertise in IPC-A-620 guidelines for wire and cable assemblies.
