Job Description

As a Measuring Clerk, you will be responsible for taking precise measurements of materials, products, and structures. Your role is crucial in ensuring quality control and identifying discrepancies for corrective action. Collaborate closely with our production team to uphold high standards in every measurement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise measurements of materials and production components.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare reports for management.
• Engage in problem-solving initiatives to rectify quality control issues.
• Document all measurement activities in compliance with standards.
• Work in tandem with other departments to ensure accurate measurements.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to workplace guidelines.
• Develop a thorough understanding of quality control principles.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient with CAD software
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean methodologies: Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Statistical analysis experience: Ability to perform statistical analysis for quality improvement.
