Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Last Model Maker to join our innovative team. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality shoe lasts using both traditional methods and state-of-the-art tools, ensuring that all lasts meet precise client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate lasts that meet precise specifications.
• Employ CAD software and CNC machines for accurate production.
• Test and evaluate the quality of lasts and their fit with finalized shoe designs.
• Assist in training junior staff in lasts creation and production processes.
• Regularly update production logs and reports for management.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement in processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in footwear design or manufacturing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in footwear manufacturing and last creation

Technical Skills

• Experience with 3D modeling software
• Hand tooling techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills

Advantageous

• Understanding of footwear fitting: Knowledge of fitting principles and their application in last creation.
• Experience in quality control: Experience in quality control processes within footwear manufacturing.
