Engine and Other Machine Assemblers

Job Description

As an Engine Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing large engines according to specifications. We are looking for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engine components using hand and power tools.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with other assemblers to optimize assembly processes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly issues as they arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or technology is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in large engine assembly preferred

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• Manufacturing assembly tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems: Familiarity with hydraulic systems and electrical components is beneficial.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of lean principles to optimize assembly efficiency.
• Strong computer skills: Familiarity with design software and manufacturing tools.
