Software Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer to enhance our QA processes. In this role, you will develop automated tests, conduct performance and load testing, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design documents.
• Identify testing opportunities and develop frameworks to improve test coverage.
• Ensure timely reporting of defects and ensure proper resolution.
• Work with Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the development of QA best practices and procedures.
• Perform exploratory testing to discover edge cases and usability issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure software services align with customer needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications in Software Testing are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with version control systems: Proficiency in Git and managing code repositories.
