Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Lighting Equipment Operator who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of lighting equipment for stage productions, concerts, and various events. This role is crucial in creating the right atmosphere and enhancing the audience's experience through expert lighting design.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle lighting setups for various types of events.
• Design lighting schemes based on the production's vision.
• Collaborate with sound and stage technicians for cohesive setups.
• Run tests of lighting systems prior to performances.
• Document and track equipment used for each event.
• Monitor energy consumption and manage equipment efficiency.
• Ensure the safety of all team members around lighting equipment.
• Explore innovative lighting effects to enhance productions.
• Engage in continuous learning about industry advancements.
• Participate in crew meetings to align on production logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Lighting Technology or related field
• Certification in theater production or related field desired

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in live event lighting.

Languages
