Box Car Loader

Job Description

The Box Car Loader is responsible for loading and unloading shipping containers and trailers for a variety of industrial clients. This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and ensure that goods are properly secured for transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of railcars and containers efficiently.
• Perform regular inspections of loading equipment to ensure they function properly.
• Report any issues or damages to the operations supervisor.
• Collaborate with fellow workers to optimize loading processes.
• Assist with the training of new team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Equipment Operation
• Warehouse Management Software

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
