Job Description
Join our team as a Group Counselor, where you will provide essential counseling services to support individuals dealing with diverse mental health issues. Your role will be pivotal in fostering connection and understanding among clients.
Responsibilities
Facilitate engaging and effective therapy groups for individuals facing mental health issues.
Establish rapport with participants to create a trusting therapeutic environment.
Monitor group interactions and intervene appropriately to promote constructive communication.
Document group sessions and report on treatment progress in a timely manner.
Contribute to team meetings and share insights on client progress.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work
Licensure in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
At least 3 years of experience working with diverse populations
