Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician at Confidential Veterinary Practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting animal care. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians during examinations, performing laboratory tests, and educating pet owners about their animals' health.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside veterinarians during medical and surgical procedures.
  • Conduct lab tests to aid in diagnosing conditions.
  • Oversee post-surgery recovery and provide follow-up care.
  • Inform pet owners of procedures and proper at-home care.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in anesthesia monitoring during surgical procedures.
  • Handle patient history records and update client files.
  • Educate clients on vaccination schedules and health check preparations.
  • Maintain organized supply and inventory management.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
  • Certification in Veterinary Assistance is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic
