Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tombstone Erector to join our team. The Tombstone Erector will be responsible for erecting tombstones and maintaining cemetery grounds in a respectful and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare burial sites for tombstone installations.
• Handle and position tombstones accurately and with care.
• Provide maintenance and repair services for existing tombstones.
• Record and document all installations for future reference.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with cemetery regulations and permits.
• Foster a respectful and calm environment for bereaved families.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in cemetery or construction work preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of tombstone installation practices
• Tool Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in cemetery maintenance or related field: Any certification demonstrating formal training in cemetery work.
