Job Description

As an Elevator Installer, you will assemble, install, and maintain elevators and escalators in settings such as hospitals and commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that all installations comply with safety regulations and function effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Examine existing elevator installations for compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide diagnostic assessments for escalators and other vertical transportation equipment.
  • Install wiring and electrical components necessary for equipment operation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform installation tasks.
  • Assist in large-scale projects, ensuring team collaboration and adherence to timelines.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed an apprenticeship program or technical school training in elevator installation
Experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in elevator installation and maintenance.
