Responsibilities

• Oversee prenatal examinations and screenings.
• Support and guide families through the birthing process.
• Implement postpartum care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate parenting classes and wellness workshops.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Engage in ongoing education to keep skills and knowledge current.
• Mentor junior midwives and interns through their training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing or Midwifery
• Licensure and registration as a midwife in the state of practice

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in midwifery or related field.

• Patient education

Certifications

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
