Job Description
The Alumni Secretary will play an essential role by maintaining the alumni database and organizing events that bring alumni together. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
Oversee the alumni database and ensure that all records are correct and current.
Plan and deliver a range of alumni events, focusing on engagement and relationship-building.
Manage alumni communications to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Work alongside fundraisers to create compelling initiatives that encourage alumni donations.
Engage with alumni to gather feedback on programs and services.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure that alumni needs are met.
Prepare reports on alumni engagement metrics for the management team.
Assist with developing strategies to enhance alumni relations.
Respond to alumni inquiries and requests for information efficiently.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Master's degree in Communications or Marketing is a plus
Experience
2-3 years in alumni relations or related experience with event management
