Draw Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Draw Machine Operator to join our growing team. The Draw Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating draw machines to produce wire and metal products according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Operate draw machines, ensuring products meet specified dimensions and quality.
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Work closely with the quality control team to address product variations.
• Document maintenance and repairs performed on machinery.
• Exercise a high level of attention to detail when inspecting finished products.
• Participate in safety training and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other operators to refine processes and enhance productivity.
• Assist with inventory management related to raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in machine operation is preferred.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with draw machines or similar equipment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Basic mathematical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
