Job Description

We are in search of experienced Milling and Planing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our production team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to operate and troubleshoot milling machines effectively. This role is integral to ensuring the precision and quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual milling machines, ensuring precision and quality.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines in all machine operations.
• Inspect and measure parts using calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Assist with setup and calibration of new machinery.
• Communicate with engineering and quality control teams regarding production issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Keep detailed records of production activity and machine maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in manufacturing or machining is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a related machining or manufacturing role
