Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Jacquard Fixer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting Jacquard looms and related equipment. Your proficiency in textile machinery, along with strong problem-solving abilities, will be crucial for the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of Jacquard looms to ensure proper function and maintenance.
• Execute preventive maintenance routines to extend the life of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure the repair or replacement of defective parts as needed.
• Adjust loom settings and conduct necessary calibrations for optimal output.
• Document maintenance and repair work clearly for future reference.
• Mentor junior staff on best practices for machinery maintenance.
• Work alongside production teams to streamline processes and resolve challenges.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
• Research and implement new technologies related to Jacquard weaving.

Requirements

Experience

• Experience with specific Jacquard loom models used in our facility is preferred.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of other weaving techniques and equipment: Broader understanding of various weaving technologies.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing other types of textile machinery: Diverse experience in textile equipment maintenance.
