Job Description

As a Cancer Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. Your responsibilities will include developing individualized care plans, educating patients and their families, and coordinating between various healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care.
  • Develop partnerships with local support organizations.
  • Assist with grant writing for community cancer awareness programs.
  • Provide logistical support for clinical trials when applicable.
  • Assist in the evaluation of cancer care programs and initiatives.
  • Engage in team-building activities to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or counseling settings
