Job Description

We are seeking a Pheresis Specialist to join our dynamic team at Healthcare Services Inc. In this role, you will perform therapeutic apheresis procedures that are vital for patient care. Your expertise will ensure safety and comfort while maintaining meticulous records.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct therapeutic apheresis procedures following guidelines.
  • Assess patients for their readiness for the procedure.
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
  • Keep detailed records during and after each procedure.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide education on potential risks and post-procedure care.
  • Monitor and calibrate apheresis equipment regularly.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Implement and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Report any issues regarding procedures or patient safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or Medical Technology
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pheresis Specialist or similar role.
