Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable Strander to operate machinery for stranding wires into cable. Your role will involve inspecting the quality of finished products and maintaining production records.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stranding machines as per specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure cables meet standards.
• Document production metrics and report to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
• Assist with inventory management of materials.
• Train new employees on stranding operations and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in cable or wire production

Technical Skills

• Equipment maintenance
• Technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in quality control processes: Hands-on experience with quality control techniques in manufacturing.
