Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to manage and maintain accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while facilitating easy access to vital patient data.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain best practices in medical records management.
Assist with onboarding new team members regarding record-keeping procedures.
Collaborate with IT departments to optimize electronic record systems for efficiency.
Perform regular audits of medical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide support in the transition from paper to electronic records.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field is preferred.
Experience
2+ years of experience in a medical records role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with medical coding systems

Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team player
Certifications
Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) (a plus)
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) (optional)
Languages
English: Fluent
