As a Smoker Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art smoker. This includes preparing and smoking a variety of meats while ensuring high food safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the smoking process, ensuring optimal flavors and textures.
Conduct regular checks to maintain equipment performance.
Develop seasoning blends and brines as needed for meat preparation.
Document smoking times and temperatures for each product.
Train new staff on smoking techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in tastings and product quality assessments.
Collaborate with the Sales team for promotional events and new product launches.
Requirements
Education
Culinary Certificate or equivalent
Experience
3+ years of meat smoking and culinary experience.
