Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Plating Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing and operating plating equipment, ensuring high-quality metal and plastic components are produced. You will monitor plating processes, perform routine maintenance, and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of metal and plastic components for the plating process.
• Set up and calibrate plating machines for optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the plating process to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document all process parameters and adjustments in production logs.
• Implement process improvements to enhance plating efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Assist in the training of junior operators in best practices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in PCB plating or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in PCB plating or similar roles.
