Job Description

As an Instrument Assembly Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for assembling scientific instruments used in medical and research facilities. Ensuring quality and efficiency in assembly processes, you will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to optimize outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily meetings with the assembly team to review goals and assess progress.
  • Analyze assembly processes for bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Work with quality assurance to develop and maintain quality metrics.
  • Coordinate with logistics for material handling and distribution of finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between manufacturing and other departments.
  • Track and report on assembly efficiency metrics to management.
  • Handle any employee performance issues within the assembly team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in assembly supervision or related manufacturing fields
