We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide expert advice to clients while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare detailed tax compliance reports.
• Conduct in-depth research on tax laws and regulations.
• Provide insights on tax-efficient strategies for clients.
• Assist in federal and state tax audits and inquiries.
• Enhance client relationships through effective communication.
• Develop and execute tax planning initiatives.
• Support the training of junior staff on tax issues.
• Analyze tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments.
• Provide risk management solutions for tax liabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant tax preparation experience

Technical Skills

• SAP Knowledge

Certifications

• Tax Certification preferred

Languages
