Job Description

The Statement Clerks Manager will oversee a team responsible for managing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves training staff, enhancing processes, and collaborating with cross-departmental teams to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operations of the statement clerks team, ensuring timely processing of all statements.
  • Conduct audits of processed statements to confirm accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide training sessions for new hires and ongoing development for current staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the statement clerks and higher management regarding team updates and challenges.
  • Compile and present reports regarding statement processing metrics.
  • Monitor industry regulations and ensure the team is compliant.
  • Foster a positive team environment and encourage professional growth among team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred

  • 6+ years of supervisory experience in a financial setting
