Job Description

As a Repair Department Manager, you will oversee the repair operations, ensuring that processes are efficient and meet the highest quality standards. You will lead a skilled team of technicians, implement effective repair practices, and optimize productivity throughout the department.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff performance and provide support where needed.
  • Enhance repair processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other teams to improve repair turnaround times.
  • Ensure all repair records are accurate and updated.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment.
  • Handle customer complaints regarding repairs and resolutions.
  • Create weekly reports for management review.
  • Conduct safety audits and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in purchasing decisions for repair materials and tools.
  • Research and implement best practices in repair procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology
  • Greater qualifications may be considered beneficial
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in repair management, demonstrating strong supervisory skills.
