Gynecological Oncologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gynecological Oncologist to develop and implement effective treatment strategies for women with gynecological cancers. You will engage in clinical research and stay abreast of advancements in oncology to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures for tumor removal and other gynecological interventions.
• Participate in tumor boards and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases.
• Educate patients about treatment options, side effects, and expected outcomes.
• Support and mentor medical students and residents in the field of gynecological oncology.
• Develop community outreach programs to raise awareness about women's health and gynecological cancers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging research in the field.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Specialized training in Gynecologic Oncology preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice in oncology
