Job Description

Seeking a proactive Health and Safety Engineer to enhance our safety initiatives. You will design safety protocols and continuously evaluate existing systems for compliance and efficiency. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying risks and implementing effective safety solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety committee meetings to discuss and address safety issues.
• Maintain records of safety training and compliance.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and routine safety training.
• Utilize data to monitor safety trends and recommend adjustments.
• Engage with external safety organizations for best practices.
• Conduct vendor assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare presentations on safety metrics for management.
• Lead joint safety inspections with regulatory agencies.
• Foster an environment of open communication regarding safety matters.
• Support the organization in achieving safety certifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Safety Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health and safety roles
