Job Description

As a Zyglo Inspector at Tech Innovations, you will be integral to the quality control process, utilizing fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) methods to ensure the integrity of components used in aerospace applications. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our quality team to uphold strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough FPI inspections on aerospace components.
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare reports on findings.
  • Work with the quality assurance team to enhance inspection techniques and processes.
  • Train new staff on inspection procedures and equipment use.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management standards.
  • Utilize inspection tools and software for data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
  • Document and track inspection anomalies for future reference.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma
  • Associate's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in non-destructive testing methods.

  • Certification in NDT Level II
Languages

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC): Familiarity with techniques for measuring and controlling quality.
  • Previous experience with eddy current testing: Hands-on experience with other NDT methods such as eddy current.
