Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Labor Relations Specialist to lead unionization efforts, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and advocate for the rights of workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee union election processes and ensure fair representation of workers.
  • Coordinate with lawyers on labor disputes and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Engage with employers and stakeholders to negotiate fair contracts.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on labor rights for union members.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of organizing efforts.
  • Develop strategies for conflict resolution among members.
  • Monitor compliance with union agreements and labor laws.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred

  • 3-5 years of labor organizing experience
