Construction Laborer (Riprap Worker)

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Riprap Worker who will be responsible for hands-on tasks associated with erosion control and shoreline stabilization. You’ll work as part of a cohesive team, utilizing your skills to contribute to environmentally responsible construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental restoration initiatives by ensuring project compliance.
• Work under the guidance of foremen and project leads.
• Assist in the evaluation of project requirements and material needs.
• Engage in teamwork to facilitate project progression.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma required

Experience

• Previous experience in environmental restoration is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Experience with GIS mapping software
• AutoCAD or similar design software knowledge

Advantageous

• CPR and First Aid certification: Basic first aid and CPR training to ensure team safety.
• OSHA certification: Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance.
