Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Counselor Education Professor to provide exceptional education and training to students pursuing counseling careers. In this role, you will create impactful curricula, engage in research, and mentor students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future roles in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive course content for aspiring counselors.
  • Facilitate research initiatives and encourage student involvement.
  • Guide students through their practical training experiences.
  • Engage in continuous curriculum development and accreditation processes.
  • Participate in community outreach to enhance program visibility.
  • Foster collaborative relationships within the department and university.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Lead workshops and seminars on contemporary counseling practices.
  • Contribute to academic publications and presentations at conferences.
  • Engage in evaluation and assessment of program outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field preferred
  • Licensure in counseling is a must
