Job Description

As a Predatory Animal Trapper, you will play a crucial role in protecting local wildlife while managing the threats posed by predatory animals to livestock and crops. This position requires skill in animal behavior, a strong ability to work independently in diverse environments, and a passion for wildlife preservation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of affected areas to understand wildlife behavior.
  • Capture and transport predatory animals to designated relocation sites.
  • Assist in developing community awareness programs on wildlife management.
  • Respond to emergency wildlife situations as required.
  • Work with local authorities to address any wildlife-related concerns.

Requirements

Education
  • Some college coursework in wildlife biology or related field is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of field experience in wildlife management or trapping.

  • GPS and mapping software proficiency
