Job Description

As a Truck Caterer, you will be the face of our mobile catering service, responsible for operating and managing food services within our food truck. Your role essential in ensuring high-quality food preparation and delivering outstanding customer service. Your day-to-day tasks will include cooking, serving, and interacting with customers to create a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the food truck.
  • Prepare diverse menu items and cater to special dietary needs.
  • Ensure food quality and safety are top priority while serving.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on the food truck and equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Train and supervise junior staff or kitchen helpers as required.
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies when necessary.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive environment both inside and outside the truck.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler's Certificate or ServSafe Certification (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry, preferably in a mobile catering or food truck setting.
