Job Description

As a Health and Human Performance Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and researching in the exciting field of health and human performance. Your role will involve developing curriculum, delivering lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to academic scholarship, ensuring that our programs maintain relevance and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead seminars and workshops on health and human performance topics.
  • Evaluate and refresh course materials based on industry trends and student feedback.
  • Guide students in research projects and thesis development.
  • Contribute to the academic community through participation in conferences and workshops.
  • Maintain an active research agenda with peer-reviewed publications.

  • Volunteer for committees within the department and institution.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Health and Human Performance or related field is preferred
  • Professional certifications (e.g., NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) are a plus
