Job Description

As an Electrical Power-Line Installer and Repairer (Hot Stick Worker), you'll be at the forefront of high voltage maintenance and repairs. You will work with specialized equipment and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring the reliability of our power systems. Your expertise will support critical infrastructure while collaborating with a team focused on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain high voltage distribution systems using specialized tools.
  • Document all maintenance work and prepare reports for management review.
  • Actively participate in emergency response teams for power outages.
  • Coordinate with various departments to improve operational efficiency.
  • Regularly review and update operational procedures to enhance safety.
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Implement safety measures to protect the team and the public.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
  • Adapt to varying work conditions and challenges, demonstrating flexibility.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or additional training in electrical maintenance is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical installation or repair.
