Job Description

As a Cost Estimator at our firm, you will be responsible for analyzing construction plans and estimating costs associated with various building projects. With a strong focus on collaboration, you will work closely with architects and engineers to develop accurate budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for various construction projects.
• Interface with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy in estimates.
• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders regarding project costs.
• Maintain a database of costs from past projects for reference.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations affecting costs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior estimators.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and select the appropriate providers for projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in estimates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction estimation

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
