Job Description

As an Electric Utility Lineworker, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of electrical power lines. The position demands technical expertise to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for our customers. Your responsibilities will include installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on our power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of electrical equipment and power lines.
  • Carry out installation and repair work on electrical power systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting on faulty lines and equipment.
  • Respond to outages and perform immediate repairs.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment following safety guidelines.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage in routine safety training and adhere to company policies.
  • Work closely with other lineworkers and field personnel.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices in the industry.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications in electrical safety are preferred
Experience
  • Experience with live line maintenance is advantageous
