As a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems that facilitate seamless business communication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and implement efficient EDI solutions. Your expertise will contribute to improving data exchange processes between trading partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities

• Analyze existing EDI systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Develop custom EDI solutions that meet unique business needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of EDI systems.
• Ensure compliance with EDI standards, such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices in EDI implementation and management.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance EDI capabilities.
• Create user-friendly documentation and support materials for EDI users.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on EDI processes.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and partners regarding EDI integration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Software Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in EDI development and similar roles

Technical Skills

• Experience with EDI integration
• Data Transformation Technologies

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Relevant EDI certifications are a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
