Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating lithoplates using advanced technology and traditional methods. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for printing, we want you!

Responsibilities

• Develop lithoplates for various printing jobs, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
• Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment.
• Work alongside graphic designers to align on project requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during production runs.
• Perform batch quality checks on lithoplates to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain an organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in lithoplate making is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in lithoplate making preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of lithoplate making techniques
• Experience with offset and flexography methods

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of color theory and printing techniques: Understanding of color management and its impact on print quality.
• Experience with print quality audits: Ability to evaluate and ensure consistent print quality across projects.
