Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Bilingual Teacher Aide! You will assist teachers in navigating the complexities of multilingual education, providing crucial support that helps students from diverse backgrounds succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities
Support classroom instruction by helping students grasp concepts and materials.
Assist with individual and small-group tutoring sessions.
Help foster communication between non-English speaking students and teachers.
Translate classroom discussions when needed to facilitate understanding.
Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality.
Encourage an interactive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
Teaching certification preferred but not mandatory
Experience
Experience working with bilingual students and their families.
