Job Description

As a Rigging Engineer, you will design and maintain rigging systems that meet project requirements across various industries including entertainment, construction, and oil/gas. Your role will ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rigging plans and procedures in collaboration with the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust rigging plans as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior rigging personnel.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rigging systems and report on their status.
  • Work closely with cranes and heavy machinery operators to ensure safe operation.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on rigging activities and inspections.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience
  • Experience in multiple rigging industries (e.g., entertainment, construction, oil/gas).
