Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to support students in their academic and personal journeys, providing guidance and resources to foster their growth in a positive school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and personal counseling to students.
• Plan and lead workshops on topics related to mental health and academic success.
• Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop action plans.
• Facilitate conflict resolution sessions and restorative practices.
• Coordinate with external agencies for additional student support services.
• Support students in college admissions and financial aid processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards in counseling.
• Implement programs that promote social-emotional learning.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in School Counseling or related field
• Doctorate in Education is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a school counseling role.

Certifications

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
