Job Description

As a Soil and Plant Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in tree management and environmental conservation. Your main responsibilities will include conducting assessments of tree health, developing care plans, and providing expertise on tree selection and maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and monitor tree conditions across various sites.
  • Develop educational programs related to tree care.
  • Assist in urban forestry initiatives focused on tree preservation.
  • Conduct risk assessments on trees and mitigate hazards.
  • Collaborate on tree conservation policies with local authorities.
  • Perform hands-on tree care, including planting and pruning.
  • Document findings and recommendations clearly for clients.
  • Participate in workshops and training sessions for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with local communities to foster appreciation for trees.
  • Conduct research on new tree care techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field
  • Advanced certifications are a plus

  • 3+ years in the tree care or environmental services industry
