Job Description

As an Ambulance Driver, you will play a critical role in our emergency medical services team, ensuring the safe and timely transport of patients. Your responsibilities will also include assisting medical personnel and maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate emergency vehicles with utmost care and adherence to safety procedures.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of patient care during transport.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the ambulance and equipment.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals for seamless patient care coordination.
• Document all transport activities and any relevant observations accurately.
• Actively participate in emergency drills and training sessions.
• Support fellow team members with any transport-related duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in emergency medical services is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Valid driver's license
• Basic medical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in emergency medical services: Previous work as an EMS Driver or similar role.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Preferred for those looking to enhance patient care capabilities.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems: Knowledge of navigating efficiently to various locations.
